Psalm 37

I apologize for so many quotes I’m going to be putting in this post… But this was an amazing passage of scripture. You know how sometimes you have to kind of wait patiently for a wonderful passage of scripture in a devotion and other times its just chock full of goodies? Well the latter was this morning for me. Anywho, here’s the list:

“Do not fret because if those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will whither , like green plants they will soon die away.”

“Take delight in The Lord and he will give you the desires if your heart. Commit your ways to The Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.”

“Be still before The Lord and wait patiently for him…”

“The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.”

” The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for The Lord upholds him with his hand.”

” The salvation of the righteous comes from the lord , he is their stronghold in times of trouble.”

I think most of these if not all of these speak for themselves. I got so much of the passage in just seeing how The Lord sees the righteous and the wicked. And though in this life we may not be recognized for our trying to do right, the Lord knows our heart and we will be lavishly rewarded. It’s scriptures like these that make me see the undying and just love of our God.
